JONATHAN NICHOLL

Jonathan’s background in government in operational and policy roles brings a wealth of experience as a facilitator, coach, and mentor.

He has extensive experience with law enforcement and national security, including roles as an Intelligence Collector, Analyst and Reporter, Senior Liaison Officer, and Task-Force Head. He’s held various senior executive roles within government agencies, including State and National Manager at a Commonwealth Law Enforcement Agency, Assistant Commissioner in the Australian Electoral Commission, and Assistant Secretary for a corporate-enabling branch held within a large government department. In his senior executive roles, he led the development and management of new recruitment processes and the adoption of new technologies and machinery.

Through Jonathan’s impressive tenure within the government, he’s helped individuals and teams navigate and prosper through professional and institutional growing pains. He has a decade’s worth of formal and informal mentorship with his staff, where he’s cultivated a strong passion for supporting emerging managers and leaders but his focus lies in team dynamics, cohesion, and performance.

Jonathan was an APS Indigenous Champion in several agencies and has worked with indigenous communities across Australia. He combines a strong operational background with extensive practical real-world experience to provide best-in-class facilitation, coaching, and mentoring services.

Jonathan holds an Executive Master of Public Administration from the University of Melbourne and the Australia-New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG), and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Adelaide. He is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). Jonathan holds several professional awards including a Commissioner’s Group Citation for Conspicuous Conduct from the Australian Federal Police.

In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys riding his Triumph motorbike and volunteering with the NSW Rural Fire Service and Anglicare.
