Lynn is no stranger to IT, policy, and logistics. As a former Chief Information Officer (CIO) and senior executive in the Australian federal government, her operational expertise is second to none. She was a leader domestically and internationally, overseeing Machinery of Government IT mergers for a large Government Department, and led corporate technology in both small and large departments.

Her diverse background in government and the private sector is best exemplified in her role as First Assistant Commissioner, where she was responsible for the delivery of federal electoral services across Australia and abroad. Notably the largest peacetime exercise in the southern hemisphere.

Naturally, Lynn has been a formal mentor for Women in IT for many years. She has led a distinguished career as marked by her various professional awards most notably the Australia Day Award, Superior Client Service Award, and Award for Excellence.

Lynn’s educational background covers; the Australian Institute of Police Management (AIPM), Australia-New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG), Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), and Communications and Information Systems in Business from University of South Australia. Her experience in multiple IT and project areas has made her a SCRUM, PRINCE2, ITIL and PMBOK native. She is a certified coach and HBDI Practitioner and holds a Trade Certificate.

Lynn holds an active Negative Vetting 2 security clearance and has professional memberships with the Institute of Public Administration Australia, Australian Institute of Company Directors, International Coaching Federation, Australia-New Zealand School of Government and Australian Institute of Police Management Alumni.
